Petaluma Valley Athletic Club is the only facility in Petaluma with Racquetball/Handball courts. There are two glass back wall courts and one with four complete walls. All are visible from upstairs. Racquetball is a fast sport that is easy to learn. You burn calories without thinking about it and have a fun time at it.
At PVAC, you can find a challenge court every Monday to play and meet other players. Socials are held to play, eat, and find players of similar level of play. If you are new to PVAC, ask Vinnie about introductions to other players.
The Junior Program has been in existence since 1998, run by advanced certified instructor, Brian Dixon. Currently there have been four players that have been National Champions and one (Heather Mahoney) that is a WORLD Champion. There are two sessions throughout the year (Fall/Winter and Winter/Spring). Classes are Saturdays from 11 am-12 pm for Beginners and 12 pm-2 pm for Intermediate/Advanced. During the Summer, there are Junior Challenge courts on Saturdays from 11 am-1 pm.
The courts can also be utilized for Wallyball, Pickleball, Badminton etc…
